About Us

Bastar Division JNV Alumni Association (BDJAA)

The Bastar Division JNV Alumni Association (BDJAA) was conceived with the primary goal of bridging the gap between alumni and current students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) in the Bastar Division. Despite challenges, our association materialized with a committed tagline, "Leave to Serve" ("सेवार्थ प्रस्थान"), echoing the ethos of JNV's mission. Our mission encompasses:

Reuniting in the nurturing environment where we once thrived.
Cultivating awareness among students about life beyond Navodaya.
Providing a platform for skill development and overcoming obstacles.
Promoting awareness of professional and personal growth opportunities.
Organizing events for social welfare within JNVs and the broader Bastar Division.
Offering guidance and motivation to underprivileged individuals both within and outside JNVs.

Public Welfare Work

Engaging in relief efforts, training programs, and providing service during natural disasters, along with other public welfare initiatives decided by the General Assembly.

Excellence Award

Recognizing individuals who have excelled in various fields.

Environmental Protection

Organizing cleanliness drives, tree plantation initiatives, and other programs aimed at public welfare.

Tourism Development

Working towards the development of tourism within the Bastar division.
